The school is a catastrophe. There are not even permanent learners in school. The children are almost always split up I am a student (12)

Absolute disaster! The concept sounds great, unfortunately there is a lack of implementation. What the school management is largely responsible for. We are so dissatisfied that our child will change schools. The teachers are all very overwhelmed and do not have as much desire for the children, prejudice, exclusion, bullying on the part of the teachers against students is not uncommon, lack of communication between parents and teachers and much more make the great concept a pure catastrophe. Dear parents, please write the truth. Why does nobody comment that the teachers do not or only partially fulfill their duties ??? We have come to the point where we have to initiate legal proceedings.

We are very happy that our children here in Viersen have the chance to visit the Primus School. Our kids really like this school and it's clear to them that they want to stay there. There is a friendly and family atmosphere with a great team, which is always working to provide the children with an optimal learning environment.

We are very happy with the school and our kids like to go there. It is true that in the meantime there have been some difficulties that needed to be overcome, but now there is neither a lack of teachers nor are there any other problems. The concept is really great, the children learn to work very independently without pressure. The teachers are very dedicated and our children feel good.

Very good experiences are always happy here in the school library and our son does not want to leave this school. Even if it gets difficult, the staff is good at organizing things as quickly as possible, the students are well taken care of.

Great teachers, the students have almost all a good relationship with the teachers. No shortage of teachers and a really great school social worker. And the rumors of the media are all not right. The school will only last 10 years of construction / 10 years of mining

The PRIMUS school is a very special school. It is not a classical elementary, secondary, junior high school or high school. She is not a comprehensive school either. With 4 other PRIMUS schools in NRW, it belongs to a so-called school trial. In this school experiment, it should be tested whether children learn better under different conditions than in the classic school model. But you do not need to be afraid that your child is suddenly out of school, should be decided at some point to end the school experiment. It is guaranteed by law that every child can attend school until he is in grade 10. In this case, simply no new first graders would be accepted and the school would then be handled for more than 10 years. But what is the PRIMUS concept? The differences are numerous. So the children learn from the 1st to the 10th grade at the same school. The usual change of school from the 4th to the 5th class is omitted. It is taught throughout the year, ie class 1 and 2 together, class 3 and 4 together, class 5 and 6 together and so on. Every child is required and promoted according to their personal achievements. It is a full-time school - even though you can still choose in classes 1-4 whether the child should attend the school full-time or half-day. The whole day provides additional educational scope and has the advantage that you do not need a separate OGS space. The child automatically has a seat in the OGS during the full-day visit. By the way, OGS supervisors not only take care of the children in the afternoon in the PRIMUS school, but also work as extra support in the classes in the morning. Brand new: so-called learning offices have been introduced at the beginning of this school year. These are lessons that students can choose, which teacher and which group of students they want to work on. If you want to know more about the PRIMUS concept, you will find information, for example: on the website of the school. You heard bad about this school? It is true that for a long time, like many other schools, the school was struggling with acute teaching and, as this school is also under construction, more teachers were needed every year for a whole new year. This has led to massive problems in recent years, which are also reflected in the other reviews. However, these problems have been resolved since this year, because the PRIMUS school and the associated teaching concept are now being strongly supported by the city of Viersen and the district government. Through their use, 100% of the teaching staff are now occupied! And that will remain so. The statement in another review, there is no fixed teacher is wrong. It's true that the school is still working with a few seconded teachers. The associated limitations are minimal and the learning concept can be widely applied and implemented. Even the statement that the children are almost always split is no longer up to date because of the good teaching staff since this school year. My wife and I decided on the PRIMUS School concept because all children learn with joy and each child is individually challenged and encouraged. The whole teaching staff - whether seconded or permanent - has an incredible passion for the cause, because teaching is also more fun. The children can learn successfully without the usual pressure and above all with joy show the achievements of those who have decided - unfortunately - after the 4th grade to go to a classical secondary school. After everything I hear, their achievements are very good. Not only did our family not regret having chosen this school. No, we are proud that our child is being taught this learning concept. P.S. Incidentally, you can also register your child for 5th grade.

The Primus school has given my son the joy of learning and a lot of self-confidence. We changed to the 3rd school year and my son has since changed. He can learn at his own pace without pressure and that has changed everything. Where he could previously learn only with much persuasion and intensive care, voluntarily refused completely and wanted to be completed as quickly as possible, he is doing extra tasks today, wants to work at home in addition, although the school concept does not provide. He has rediscovered his natural curiosity and developed an ambition that we did not even know about him before. Teachers and parenting are above average engaged, it is just fun to be at this school and to be able to participate. The children all participate strongly in the inclusion model, my son has greatly improved both his school and social skills. There are difficulties such as lack of teachers at almost every school. At this, it was mastered in a joint act of school leadership, teachers who spent more hours, and parents who worked hard to get the political forces moving. Thumbs up for this school!

My assessment, which some may have considered excessive, I have deleted! This does not change the fact that the five years are not enough for the Primus Schule experiment model to meet its own requirements! This partly applies to the lack of experience of some teachers "FROM INITIAL AT !!" as well as the system.

The right decision for our child. We also cannot complain about funding (in all directions) and have a child who is very happy to go to school.
